Stomping Grounds is a free monthly open stage event for young creatives to develop performance, curation, and exhibition skills while connecting to the Chicago creative community. BIO:
SBG Kemo whose real name is Hakeem Campbell, was born and raised on the Westside of Chicago. He is known for being one half of the Creators of the hit song “Heavy Steppers” which had currently over 10 million views on YouTube. Also Kemo is a full time college student a GPA of a 4.0 business major and gradually coming into his own and establishing himself as one of rap’s most talented young artists to come from Chicago gaining the attention of some of the most prominent artists and producers of his time such as: Chance the Rapper, Polo G, 808 Mafia’s own DYKRAZY, Young Chop, music mogul: John Monoply and a host of others. Meanwhile his single “Heavy Steppers” is gaining major exposure throughout the world he is currently working on his debut project “Hood Trophies” along with his partner Ke Millie. His songs have a creative and catchy feel, with a clear, quality sound, which will appeal to his listeners. Once you hear his music you’ll know when you hear Kemo again. His music is a part of his diary, he talks to people through his music.–
